MeshYoga, created by Michelle Lou Lan, is a straightforward, refined and redefined practice born from a critical interpretation of various yogic styles, focusing on alignment, simplicity, and flow. MeshYoga starts by separation, where a pose is broken down, particular movements are treated as lone components, and attention is placed on engaging every muscle and relieving the joints. What follows is the process of connection, where every position is rebuilt, deviating from it’s original form. This practice has as it’s end the overall connectedness between body and mind, and the importance of individuality as it relates to the whole.
